01. What are the difference(s) between the levels of your artists?
The level differences between our artists are based on their experience, leadership skills, and communication skills. Our senior artists have the most experience and have done over 100+ weddings. Our lead artists have done over 50+ weddings.
02. How should I know which artist to book with?
You may schedule a free consultation with Kelly so she could learn more about the look you want to achieve on your wedding day. She will find the artist that will best fit your style.
03. Your work is amazing. When should I book my wedding day?
After you set your wedding date, we suggest that you book your makeup artist immediately. Our clients usually book us 6 to 9 months in advance after they confirm the wedding date. A deposit is required to secure our service(s) for your wedding date.
04. What is the trial/ preview session?
A trial/ preview session is recommended to ensure that we achieve the perfect look for your wedding day! Our artist will spend 2-3 hours with you to design the look that is suitable to your personality and will best match the style of your wedding.
For your trial/ preview session visit, there will be a full makeup application and two difference hairstyles.
Our artist will also provide pre-makeup skin analysis and skin care recommendations.
We want our bride to be completely satisfied after their preview session. All of our artists will do their best to ensure that you will achieve the look you want!
It is always recommended to book your wedding day before having your trial/ preview session to ensure availability. It is also better to have the trial/ preview session done in advance just in case you decide to make any adjustments to your makeup and hairstyles choices.
05. What do I need to prepare for the trial/ preview session?
To better design your wedding day look, we ask that you bring as much information as you prefer. You may bring images of inspired makeup and hair looks, wedding dress, wedding accessories, and/or your wedding theme, color, and style. Anything you share with us will help us find the perfect look for you!
06. What can I expect from the trial/ preview session if I rarely wear makeup?
Our artists want to enhance our bride’s natural beauty during the trial session. We would first start off with a natural makeup look. It is based on the bride’s request if she wants to do something different from her everyday look. We will also take pictures of you at the studio to show how you will look in pictures.
07. Is there a trial/ preview session available for my bridal parties?
Yes! Brides, bridesmaids, and moms are more than welcome to come in for a trial/ preview session.
08. Do you provide airbrush makeup?
We do offer airbrush application. You can also add airbrush application for an additional fee to any of our services.
09. What brand of makeup products do you use?
10. Do I need to wear heavy makeup for photos?
There seems to be a misunderstanding of wearing “heavy” makeup for photos. By wearing a full face of makeup does not mean it will be cakey.
We will first start off with natural makeup. You may request for your artist to make any adjustments on the makeup during application.
We will also take pictures of you at the studio to show how you will look in pictures.
11. What is the wedding day timeline?
The typical time frame will be approximately 4-5 hours. The bride will usually require 2 ½ hours for makeup and hair. Each bridal party will require 1 ½ hours for makeup and hair (45 minutes if it is just makeup or just hair).
12. Should I request touchup service for my wedding?
The touchup service is available upon request. The bride will usually request touchup service if they have more than one gown and want to showcase more than one look for their wedding.
13. My fiancé might want a face touchup. Do you offer any services for the groom?
Yes, we do offer face touch-up and hair styling services for the groom for an additional fee. We can cover the groom’s blemishes, dark circles, etc.
14. Do you offer any other services besides weddings?
Yes, we do! Having a birthday celebration, engagement session, party, or photoshoot coming up? We have artists available for any type of event! The artist can also travel to your location if you cannot come to our studio. Hair extensions are also available upon your request.
15. What form of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, check, and money order.
16. What is the cancellation policy for trial, special occasion, engagement session, or makeup and hair workshops?
All of our stylists are only in the studio when you book an appointment. We greatly appreciate that you let us know in advance if you would like to reschedule your appointment. There will be a cancellation fee of 50% of your service fee if you cancel within 7 days prior to the appointment time. You will be charged the full service rate if you cancel your appointment within the 24 hours of the appointment time or if you are a “no show.”
